Leo would 86 by then, since he's 81 in Mafia III. You definitely put your foot in your mouth with that one, to be frank. I don't take issue with your sentiment or even not liking my idea, I encourage and welcome constructive criticism, but I just wasn't a fan of how you worded that comment. To be honest, the way you worded all of that tells me that you're very immature. The way you seem to be practically foaming at the mouth like you have rabies over a video game and wanting something new when the majority of what I wrote was something new with a lot of familiar elements to it, regardless of whether you liked it or not is more than a little ridiculous and comes across as very childish.

Is it really necessary to be so rude sarcastic about not everyone wanting what you do, or to belittle Mafia 2 fans like that? You just insulted a good portion of the Mafia fanbase with that comment.

The best of both worlds is what I'd like to see personally, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Are you completely ignoring all of that, or just being picky because it involves expanding upon old characters and concluding their storylines? Isn't that something new? During the entire 1975-1992 portion of the game, Vito is no longer the playable protagonist, and would take more of a backseat role as someone like Don Salieri, but with more integrity. My idea is after Vito and Joe take over Empire Bay in the first portion of the game, someone much younger would take the spotlight over the course of several years as the scenery changes with the years passing, going into the 80's and ending with the early 90's, and covering historical events from those times, like the end of the cold war. Did you completely miss the part I said about my idea not ending with Vito completing his goals, and then playing as his Italian-Canadian soldato in his 20's, Louis DeAngelo? This makes me not sure if you even read my entire post before you decided to make a badly worded and ill-advised comment. I liked Mafia III's story, but it didn't conclude Vito and Joe's stories, and it only made it clear they're both alive and not much else. Why can't there be a middle ground? Tying up the remaining loose ends while doing something new at the same time.
